Book Review: Meet Me at Beachcomber Bay by Jill Mansell

Meet Me at Beachcomber Bay was such a delightful read. Once you open the pages of this wonderful book, you won't want to put it down.
Full of wonderful characters with fantastic back stories, Jill Mansell really helps you get to know all her characters, so much so that you feel that you know them personally. She has created a story with all the makings of a great read, from love, friendship to loss, hidden secrets and surprises. I found myself savouring every moment.
This is the sort of book that could have been really predictable, but I was so pleased to see that it wasn't. Some things may not have come as a complete surprise, but it was things that you wanted to happen and I just got so much joy out of reading this and a part of me didn't want it to end.
Funny, romantic and heartwarming, I loved every second of this book. I got completely swept away with the setting and the characters and was so keen to see how each of their stories would pan out.
This was such a feel good read and just what I needed in the cold months of January. I have such a hankering for the summer months now. Jill made the season leap off the page for me and a trip to Cornwall is now on the cards I think.

I have only read a few of Jill's books, but each time I come away with a warm feeling and keen to delve into her next book.
